Sticker Movie

A Global Celebbartion of Sticker culture

A Film That Became a Global Movement

Sticker Movie is a feature-length documentary that dives deep into the vibrant and underground world of sticker art: a global form of self-expression that lives on walls, street signs, skate decks, laptops, and anywhere else artists can slap their message.

The film features 88 artists across 22 countries, told through five languages, with subtitles in 11, making it a truly international production. From São Paulo to Berlin, Philadelphia to Tokyo, we hear from the voices that built this culture from the ground up: artists, activists, collectors, and community organizers who use stickers to speak truth, build friendships, and take up space.

Directed by Chilly Willy (Will Deloney) and written/produced by Agent 5 Smith (Sha-Risse R. Smith), both of whom are sticker artists themselves, Sticker Movie gives an insider’s look at a worldwide community where creativity is currency and a sticker can travel the world through the hands of strangers.

This isn’t just about art. It’s about connection, rebellion, healing, and identity. And it’s just the beginning.

Sticker Art Everywhere
Even the Skyline

Out of the Sticker Movie world premiere in Portland, something magical was born — The Sticker Fairy, aka Dr. Mello, and the global projection art project known as DigiSlaps.

Armed with a projector, a passport, and an unlimited supply of stickers, the Sticker Fairy took flight — projecting artists' work onto buildings, bridges, and public spaces around the globe. Since then, DigiSlaps has brought sticker art to life in Rome, Barcelona, Seattle, Madrid, Portland, Los Angeles, and more.

Thanks to this jet-set artist and their ever-growing network of collaborators, anyone who contributes can now see their art illuminate a skyline halfway across the world.

This is how Sticker Movie lives on; not just in theaters, but in alleyways, night skies, and city walls, reminding people that art can go anywhere, and mean everything.

In Memory, In Healing

Some of the most meaningful feedback we’ve received about Sticker Movie has come from artists who said the film helped them through their darkest moments — that it reminded them they weren’t alone.

The sender thanks the recipient for impacting their approach to art and shares excitement about engaging with new artists. The recipient responds appreciatively.

Since we began filming, several of the artists in the film have tragically passed away. One of them, Flowa, appears in the movie and left a deep impact on the community. Another was a friend of director Chilly Willy: Nate Cannon, aka Bewm, took his own life shortly after graduating high school. In his memory, his friends created a tribute video that we continue to share as a way to remember and honor him.

There is a chapter in Sticker Movie dedicated entirely to mental health and how stickers can be a form of therapy, connection, and survival. Street art gives people a voice, a way to process pain, and a reason to keep creating.
